If you are struggling with dark, difficult or unconscious impulses – chronic rage, jealousy, lying, blame, addiction, depression – and seek to understand the hidden forces behind why patterns repeat themselves in your life, embracing the shadow is a vital component of deep inner work and spiritual practice.
Our dark sides harbour psychological wounds and traumas, often left over from childhood, earlier relationships, or even past lives. We unwittingly carry these unhealed aspects into our adult lives, creating blockages and sabotaging our efforts for a harmonious and fulfilling life. Shadow alchemy is critical in helping to uncover, reclaim and integrate these aspects.
